DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel London – Westminster is where myself and a friend ventured to check out the special Tea, Cakes, and Pink Champagne the hotel offered.
It was a special occasion in order to celebrate my birthday and also to have a good old natter and catch up over highly calorific treats. I had been looking forward to the experience and to be quite honest the experience did not fail.
The hotel is very chic with a stylish foyer, the staff were absolutely delightful and showed us to the main bar/lounge to our comfy area. Once seated we were quickly presented with our Pink Champagne.
It was fruity and delicious and was really hard to not to drink in one go!, I maintained composure however, and managed to sip. After a while the teas and coffees, Cakes and sandwiches were laid out infront of us. A varied choice of tea and coffee was suggested, however I went for English breakfast tea, and my friend went for the latte.
The sandwiches were nice but not enough (only 3 each) in my opinion, however the cakes and scones were numerous and extremely delicious.
I must say it was a lovely experience to totally unwind and be waited on hand and foot.
VERDICT will go again but in need of a more savory selection.
